MANIFesta'11
VIII Assembly, Fair and Party of Local Development
MONTALEGRE 7, 8, 9, 10 July (Portugal)
Organised by the network Animar, MANIFesta asserts itself as the most marking public initiative and the most global of the local development movement, since the last 17 years.
MANIFesta'11 - VIII Assembly, Fair and Party of local Development will be on the topic Mobilise and Participate to a Sustainable Economy. Its organization is carried out by a consortium lead by Animar – Portuguese Association for the local development – and locally constituted by ADRAT – Development Association of the Alto Tâmega Region (north region of Portugal) – the city council of Montalegre and the EcoMuseu of Barroso.
The general purpose of this initiative is to debate globally on the contribution of the Local Development Associations, the citizen organizations and the public authorities institutions in order to search for innovative and sustainable solutions and partnerships in the field of local reaction to the economic and social crisis the Portugal and Europe are presently going through, in particular about the indication of actions and concrete alternative proposals on nation and international economic field.
